I do remember more than once hunting in a T-shirt and jeans during the firearms deer season- even "Up North" around Cook. The one year temps hit 80 degrees or within a degree or two of that temp. It used to be a common occurrence to have a "tracking" snow on the ground by the opener but now it is often not seen until the last days of the season if at all. I could have gone barefoot those times but there is a reason I double up Odor Eaters and Scent Block in my foot wear.
