Ammo observations

I was in St. Cloud this morning and had some time to just window shop. At Scheels they have ammo a plenty but you are very limited in how much you can purchase.
Fleet Farm was a crap shoot depending on caliber and type, the shelves were still pretty barren.
Of course due to my limited funds I am only able to window shop right now. Hopefully soon things will be better.

Ammo observations

I was in Blaine FF an hour ago and there were 3 cases of 223 for 429 on the shelf along with lots of Wolf poly performance 223 and 7.62x39. Also saw 12.99 boxes of mag tech 9mm and 5.99CCI stinger 22lr (50 ct).

My guess is that the ammo prices have reset to a new normal after the crisis. People continued to horde when the prices were high so the makers responded appropriately.
Donald Trump got more fat women moving in one day than Michelle Obama did in eight years.

My local WalMart filled the ammo case with closeout gun stuff... no ammo in it to speak of. Few odd calibers and some shotgun slugs.

Quite a bit of ammo at rochester FF, lots and lots of .40 but little 9mm and no .22lr, 1000 round cases of AE .223 and 20 round 5.56. Prices were about 20% higher than a year ago so I'll wait to restock what I've shot this year. I'd guess another 6-12 months before stock and prices are back to normal, barring any more gun control nonsense.

I'm spending my money on usgi mags since alot of online retailers are back in stock at normal prices.
