I have recently inherited a Winchester Model 100 .308. It appears to be in good shape and from what I understand it has not been used for a few years now. I don't really know a lot about long guns, and as I was researching information I found out there has been a recall on these models. I have no idea if the issue has been fixed on this particular rifle.
If I took it to a gunsmith, would they be able to tell if the issue has been corrected or not? I live in the west metro so I was thinking of taking to to Bill's and having them check it out.
