Good news about the trigger. It was one of the things that made me want the XDs in the first place.

First round and the damn grip safety spring broke, new roll pin fell out....Kidding of course.

Just a slight bit harder on the pull which I expect will smooth out after more use, good to have it home.

On that note I still have not heard if the new roll pin actually has a purpose or if it is just cosmetic to mark "upgraded" pistols. I think most are assuming it's just cosmetic.

Jeepers. Everyone's getting them back or emails with delivery dates and the web site continues to say mine has been received. Well yah. I sent it in on 8-29 and believe delivered 9-3. What is going on? That complimentary mag better be a gold a plated. Jeez.

Don't worry they are still working on the ones received on 9/3. Was hoping to have mine (received 9/5) back next week but having my doubts.

I've only dry fired it (no time to hit the range yet) but didn't notice much difference, if any.

I just got mine back - I agree - not much different than I remember.

You do realize those rows go on and on and on.....

If you were in the 9/3 received though it should be shipped back to you by the end of the week as from the sound of it they are almost done with the 9/3. I fear how much longer till my 9/5 received gets sent back.

Thanks for that. Just getting anxious. Jeez, can you imagine the cost of this massive recall? All those guns... Shipping (both ways) parts and employees. And a complimentary a gold a plated magazine for every girl & boy :).
