Brass

What do you guys who don't reload do with your brass, assuming you keep it?

They are all going to give it to me, so I may recycle it properly.
It is very important to properly clean to remove the carbon and lead residue prior to disposing into my recycling machines. Those machines transform the recycled brass into a usable product for the masses.

So, please allow them to donate their brass to me without further hindrance on your part.
As a community service, I don't charge them for the recycling of their once-fired brass.

Rifle brass is segregated by caliber into ammo cans, and because of the volume the 9mm cases and 12 gauge hulls are dumped into 5 gallon buckets.

Depending on what you have, I could recycle it for you. I am doing such for another member. What I sell or can use myself, you will be paid a percentage. The scrap I am saving for a sale with proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald house in Rochester in care of another member of Mn Gun Talk who has a child at the Mayo.

I buy brass from a couple of police ranges for resale. The majority I sell goes on armslist with gunbroker being second. If I can sell low enough I put it on here also.

Are you finding berdan primers for 7.5 swiss, or are you just using boxer primed brass?

With these last few posts, it can all be recycled here on Mn Gun Talk, among friends.

Big Dog ALWAYS look for Brass. You don't have to transport it across state lines to OldmanFCSA's place. He's out in the "Boonies " and I'm much closer. I have yet, buy a single piece of New Unused brass. I guess that makes me earth friendly and a major recycler :thankyou:

Seriously, I am always looking for brass but at a reasonable price, like most of the reloaders here. All you need to do is list it in the Market place, or PM one of us. I'm sure a fellow board member will put it to good use. I have given several members brass from calibers I don't load. Some have been kind and helped me too. This is why I LOVE this forum. We help each other locate reloading materials, when they are tough to find.

I donate all my brass freely to an orginization that smelts it down to make buttons, that then get sewn on to the underwear for the needy children of America. Without those buttons sewn onto their underwear, the needy underprivileged children of America will have no buttons sewn onto their underwear, causing problems too unimaginable for me to speak in public.

Feel free to drop off any and all brass with me, as I will make sure it gets up-cycled to a cause that is much more worthy than some others that have posted here.

They tell me that the best type of brass to be smelted into underwear buttons are .308, .223, and 9mm.

...at least that's what they tell me....

Think of the children....
