I use nickel-plated cases to easily visibly see a difference in loaded ammo.
You definitely do not want to chamber a 6mm round in a 223 chamber, bullet may push back into case, asnd case neck may size down to chamber allowing bolt to close, resulting in a very high pressure overload that will definitely hurt you and your gun. Be vigilant to such errors! Shooting a 223 in the 6mm bore results in poor accuracy and a damaged bore, and partially fire-formed cases in 6mm-223Rem.
Otherwise, mine shoots fine with 75 grain to 95 grain although powder capacity is limited.
DonT., the previous owner of this rifle, shot 65 grain bullets, which I can't seem to use as I load 69 grainers in a 223 case. Besides, Bigger is Better, is what I've always heard.
