Yep. If you get there early you can often pay a meter right outside the back door on Wacouta Street (Are the meters enforced on Saturday? I think they are.) I'm not aware of any handicap spaces, but there might be some in the lot that's about 100 ft. east on 7th St.

Ummm... The breakfast is Saturday?? Did you mean to type Sunday for some reason, or was it a mistake??

BigDog: St. Paul Parking with the new meter system is 4 hours for handicap parking, and the way the sign reads to me is that it's free for 4 hours, because it's right below the notice about free parking on Saturday for the Farmer's market. Due to my knee I also have a handicap sticker, and nobody has given me a ticket yet for parking by the Gopher.

Just a quick sidebar - if you have a Handicap Permit you may park at any meter at anytime without feeding the meter! Read the info that came with your permit!

Thanks everybody. I plan to be there, I was on "vacation" and couldn't reply, but I did read your replies. I have handicap license plates. I believe I'll be able to handle the walk. Distance is increasing slowly but surely.

Well, by all means let us know if you need to be dragged from your vehicle to the barstool. And seriously, for anybody with a for-real issue, I think there's de facto valet parking availabLe. In other words, if you have a problem parking close, call me at 612-562-eight one nine two, to find out if I showed up before you. If I'm there and you trust me with your nice vehicle I might not sell it to criminals.

I am still gimpy. I can't run without wicked knee pain, but I do ok walking most of the time so I never got a renewal on my permit.
