I suppose that if I could pick the instrument that was going to be fired at me I'd like them to use the Ghost Gun. 30 Mag-Clips of 30 cal in .5 seconds would put at least 29 of those shots everywhere except the target.

OK- I did a little searching and I found this article http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/california-bill-seeks-regulate-homemade-guns-21519066.

The "ghost guns" that can slip through metal detectors and be assembled at home without safeguards are spurring efforts in California and elsewhere to bring these weapons and their owners out of the shadows.

A state lawmaker proposed legislation Monday to make background checks and gun registrations requirements for anyone who builds plastic firearms on a 3-D printer at home...It's part of a growing effort across the country to pre-empt the spread of these undetectable guns.

So apparently that very rifle in his hands will not be identified by a metal detector and also, somehow...apparently... is able to render the bullets and casings inside the 'magazine-clips' invisible to detection as well. This statement is on par with the US Attorney who said Kevin Mitnick could launch the US nuclear arsenal by whistling into a phone.

He has a bad hairdo, too.

Hmmmm, why is it when there's video of cops kicking the crap out of someone....that someone is already in handcuffs and can't resist? Yep, nothing like taking out your inner rage on a defenseless perp.

This syndrome is real. Back in the early 80's I was kicked, slapped, punched and even spit on, all while I was handcuffed. This was done by two Fla Highway Patrolmen. Luckily for me, my friend witnessed everything and the fact that his dad was a retired Metro Dade Officer, his brother (also my close friend) was a current Coral Gables Officer and K9 SWAT member, and I was close friends with another Fla Highway Patrolmen ( he heard the call but didn't associate my full name with the call). I eventually got my bail money returned, and both LEO ended upgoing back for 6 weeks "retraining". Both had to come and personally apologize verbally and in writing. At their apology, I invited both to meet me anywhere any time, out of uniform, and I would treat them the same way they treated me. Both were cowards and never accepted my offer. Also, within two years, both wete fired from the FHP.

There are many good LEO out there. They have a very difficult job and most do it terrifically. Unfortunately, there is always going to be a bad apple in the bunch and eventually, they will get weeded out.

I would love to see laws that would allow for stripping abusive police of the aegis of their badge, and trying them for assault as common criminals.

I can understand using whatever force is necessary to subdue an unruly suspect, but once he/she is in cuffs on the ground, the use of force should immediately stop.

I agree wholeheartedly. What irks me, is how the anti-gunners, in my opinion anyway, seem so complacent on the issues of the militarization of LEO's, no-knock raids or SWAT raids as common practice, and police brutality going literally unpunished. I think they even dismiss the police brutality as "there is always going to be a bad apple" but refuse to extend that same level of tolerance toward law abiding gun owners, who just want to have the means to be defend themselves.
