I was an early member. I still read from time to time but I don't post much anymore. Same questions, same answers, ego fights. Gets old. I too miss the old gang. We were the ones that got our permits in 2003 and banded together to talk about guns and carrying them in a liberal state like MN.

about a day into the new board. had too much going on that week, so I was a little later to the party than I could have been! I'd guess roughly in the 40s for member number, no idea where I rank on post count - certainly not in the top ten for sure!
seen a lot of both good and bad behavior on here since then! (prefer the good - the childish stuff sure gets old fast) glad I've been a part of the board (and hope I haven't strayed to far childish!)

Came hear when Joel started his walk off the cliff at the other board.
Mostly lurk and frequent the board to stay current when the orcs are in session at the legislature attempting to ban guns.

First post: Sat Mar 10, 2012 1:14 pm and I voted above as well.

I think if everyone does this poll and it's accurate it'll show an interesting trend; however there are even better ways (such as with WebTrends) to generate statistics for a website. You can look at each user, number of posts, most common topics, most common forum(s) posted in (and by which users are the most/least), etc. I (and I'll assume others have as well), noticed a certain trend on here just from their own personal observations. What do I mean that, I leave up to you to decipher because I don't want to derail this thread.

This is a good local board. There are better ones for specific topics, but local activities and people make it a good place to hang out.

I second that. Once I convinced (hopefully) Sam that I was not a retromingent N00B reloader I got pretty comfortable here. As to being a beady-eyed cheese thief, I stand guilty as charged.
