MNGOPAC Action Alert...Pro-Bloomberg candidate on AM1280 NOW

Postby mrokern on Sat Jan 25, 2014 1:07 pm

A last minute heads up, happening now! We just got word today. From the Minnesota Gun Owners PAC Facebook page:

ACTION ALERT!!!

US Senate Candidate Mike McFadden will be on Mitch Berg's radio show TODAY on AM1280 The Patriot.

We need supporters to call into the show and flood their phone lines asking why Mr. McFadden supports Michael Bloomberg's agenda of Universal Background Checks.

651-289-4488 is the number.

From McFadden's interview with MinnPost:

"MP: In April, the Senate voted down expanding background checks on gun purchases. Would you support that?

MM: I’m a strong believer in the Second Amendment, and the right to bear arms. It does concern me that someone that’s not allowed to buy a gun at Wal-Mart because they didn’t pass a background check is allowed to go and purchase one at a gun show. I would be open to looking at expanding background checks."

Does that sound like "a strong believer in the Second Amendment" to anyone here? It certainly does not to us.

He will be on sometime during Mitch's 1-3pm show. You can listen on AM1280 The Patriot. You can also listen via live stream at their site (http://www.am1280thepatriot.com/).

Please call in and tell Mr. McFadden that we don't elect people who don't support our fundamental rights.

Again, the number is 651-289-4488.

NO MORE "COMPROMISE"!!!!!

-Mark

So who does one vote for if this guy is the RFL nominee? Certainly he would be the lesser of two evils if it was between him and Franken, but I don't know. Is this guy going to be another RINO?

Hopefully between caucuses and primaries we can avoid that.

IMO, being a successful businessman does not automatically make someone a good politician...

Please, caucus on Feb 4. We will have more information as we get closer on the MNGOPAC site and FB page.

The problem with the Republicans is that they think they can win elections by being lighter versions of their opponents. A classic example of that is John McCain and his "mini me" Lindsay Graham. The true conservatives in their respective states try hard to get them out and cannot come up with good candidates.
On the national level, as much as I bitch about Barack Hussein Obama I don't think we would be much better off with McCain. We'd be fighting wars everywhere.

Sorry for the diversion.

Julianne Ortman is going to try to run against franken(stein). I saw something about a week ago, that she's considering or something like that..

For those who don't remember her, she was the one who made Latz look like an uneducated little school boy last year at the capitol. She's by far the one I would vote for.

Yes, Ms Ortman is running for the Republican nomination. She is also endorsed by MNGOPAC. However, I believe LePetomane was asking who to vote for if Mr. McFadden should happen to defeat Ms Ortman in the caucus/primary process.

Julianne is a candidate for the REpublican nomination for the US Senate. You'll have a chance to express your vote for her at next week's caucuses - and then in the August primary.
