I was in on Wed and he had none. Said they ran about $629. I think I'll wait a while to see what their pricing does as they become more available. Thanks
There's no way around it: it may be "legal", but there's no question that that is price gouging. I've heard enough already about gun stop (I'm new to Minnesota), none of it good, but your post is reinforcement that I will NEVER set foot in there. Ownership should be ashamed of themselves.

It was said to offer an alternative to the 9mm for those who do not like the recoil of a 9mm 12 oz gun such as women and older people. But as long as some are comparing it to the LCP, would and one care to compare the failure to feed and jamb reputation of the LCP to the 42? Some one said they ran 700 through it, I have run as of yesterday at least 450 factory rounds with one FTF, and then 400 rounds of my own reloads with out 1 FTF or jamb. As I said earlier in this tread, function is important to me. I do not want to carry a gun that has a history of jamming. I am letting anyone who wants to shoot mine with their ammo in my classes, we will see how many more rounds go through it tomorrow. I know that it so far beats hands down my wife's PPK for reliability. Go check the internet for jamming reports on LCP's over the last 5 years also about its desire for certain types of ammo. I think we should keep it apples to apples. Or not I really do not care.

"Wouldn't it be apples to apples to compare it to other popular .380 choices? Seems it is a direct competitor to the LCP. Thankfully, my LCP has been 100% perfect. Maybe the original owner took care of all the break in for me."
No: So just because it a .380 its a direct competitor? LCP is in the mouse gun category I have never seen a 42 called a mouse gun.
