You guys act like this is a GOOD thing. Just wait. I've been cursed with living close to a Cabelas. It's like that monkey paw story. You think it's gonna be great, but then you go there all the time, spend all your money, get into elventy-billion calibers and start reloading. Next thing you know there's a family intervention with crying and yelling and everything...

I swear, this will be my last gun. Forever. After this one, I'm done. Honest.

Yep, but those of us determined to "pursue the hobby" find a way. Unless I move and find more room for my stuff....

Not gonna be a problem for me. I'm on a specific mission whenever I go into a Cabela's. Powder, primers, .22LR. That's it, and most of the time what I want is sold out anyway. Well, maybe a pack of targets, or a new fishing lure or two...hm, wife wants some archery stuff...ah crap... :)

Cabela's® Announces Official Opening Date of Woodbury Store
Ribbon-cutting scheduled for 10:45 a.m Doors to open at 11 a.m

WOODBURY, Minn. (March 18, 2014) — Cabela's Incorporated, the World's Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, will celebrate the grand opening of its Woodbury, Minn., store Thursday, May 15. Cabela's stores are known as premier shopping and tourism destinations, drawing visitors from the local area and from hundreds of miles away.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Cabela's executives will begin at 10:45 a.m. and doors will open for business at 11 a.m. Opening day will begin a weekend-long celebration featuring outdoor celebrities, events for the entire family, giveaways and more.

Woodbury's 85,000-square-foot next-generation store is located at 8400 Hudson Road in the Tamarack Village Shopping Center. It is Cabela's fourth Minnesota location – joining Rogers, East Grand Forks and Owatonna – and will employ approximately 185 full-time and part-time employees.

The building's exterior reflects Cabela's popular store model with log construction, stonework, wood siding and metal roofing. A large glass storefront allows customers to view much of the store's interior as they approach the building. In addition to thousands of quality outdoor products, the interior is designed to surround customers in an outdoor experience.

They'll probably set up direct deposit for you…..

Ah no on Rogers, it has Gander Mtn, Cabelas, & Guns and Gear. Local range is Target Sports, new full service Range shortly in Osseo. Bill's South is 20 miles away in Robinsdale, F&F is In Brooklyn Park.

Correct on the Rogers stuff. Plus there is the big archery store next to Guns & Gear.
