Wife can't use a gun because it's too big/too heavy/has too much recoil I have heard, but flat out can't use the gun because the trigger pull is THAT EFFEN heavy??? Why did you waste your money on a piece of junk like that, and then spend MORE money to fix a gun that wasn't usable right out of the chute??
^^^^THIS^^^^ Why the Hell would anyone buy any gun that they were IMMEDIATELY going to "fix" or "upgrade"??? Why not buy a gun that FITS and WORKS as you like it OUT OF THE BOX in the first place? I've passed on several different brands of new handguns because they just didn't fit, work, or feel right in my hand. And trigger pull is probably the BIGGEST thing that influences my buying decisions.
I just don't understand this line of thinking. How many firearms are purchased each year for a spouse, do you suppose? For me, I'd let my wife choose her own, but that's probably a very, very, very low percentage of transactions. What if the husband has lots of handgun experience and wasn't put off by the trigger pull, but his petite wife was? Or that the husband may be a noob himself and didn't know any better and bought what the LGS guy recommended? The bodyguard pictured above has the laser. The newly released BG's no longer have that. I'm guessing he's had that pistol for a while and after watching hickock45's latest video, learned there was a solution. Why would anyone slam someone for trying to pass along some newly learned info? Instead of going out of your way to alienate people, perhaps being quiet will serve the entire community much better
