Got this on trade today along with 3 mags holster case and 60 rounds of ball ammo.

Shoots fine. Ejection is a little weak and I got a brass case right to the forehead. Extractor looks fine.

Has night sights and different internals. Ambi safety also. Which is good since I'm left handed.

Sweet gun Sir.
I have the Range Officer and have had my Gunsmith, Shawn, at Lakes Trading do a trigger job and other things with it.
I have shot many G.I.s and really like them.
You will get many years and have many great range days with this fine pistol.
Congratulations on joining the 1911 community.

I'll put my RO side by side with my Kimber Custom Target II.
Great gun.

Good to see that you are also a multiple 1911 owner as I am

Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

Not sure. Think they might be kimber magazines. I do have a standard 8 round without the extended base plate installed. That one runs the best.

I like it, very sexy.

I also just today picked up my first colt, a 1911 commander series 80 in brushed steel and I am already in love and have not shot it yet.

Enjoy that.

I don't have a Colt, (yet?) but it's really nice. I have a few other 1911's and they're great fun. I need to learn more about them beyond the basics.

Ordered some new grips for the gun. I wanted some black ones, and found these on ebay. They match my tattoo.

Availability of accessories for 1911 is great!!! That way you get the variety without buying up every gun available on the market :)

Let us know how you like them. I have two pairs of smooth burl wood grips coming and am running out of patience!!!

After shooting the dickens out of your Springer, ask a buddy if you could shoot his Nighthawk. You will come close to tinkling in your pants, they're that good.
