I sent my app for the waiting list. Can I put it in my will?

I sent one in as well. Anybody knows if they will send a quick email to verify they got it?

Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

I sent mine in as well. I hope we receive some kind of acknowledgement so we don't have to wonder if we got on the list or not.

I'd like to take you up on that but I will be in Idaho that week. I am staying at a ranch where I can shoot and fish to my hearts delight.

On the club issue I can see why the members have a sense of community and ownership. What is bothersome is the cliques that develop within these organizations.

Good luck then. Sounds fun.

I am a pretty new member. i have not seen that. Hopefully I will avoid the issue. I will be there mainly to shoot. Hopefully in the future I will have the time to socialize. Then I might see a bit of what you have. Until then I will just enjoy my time on the range.

It's a gun club, not junior high. I've been a member for 10 years and I don't know if there are "cliques" or not. If there are, they have absolutely no effect on me. When I go there, I go to shoot. If other people go there to hang around, drink coffee, gossip about other members, or whatever it is you are envisioning, I couldn't care less.

I agree. You meet new members all the time. Work together, be nice and everyone will have a great time.

Checkout the other events for the kids and ladies throughout the year.

I didn't receive an email regarding my application, but that's ok. Put a copy of the app with my will so it will go to my older son.

The ranch where I shoot in Idaho isn't junior high either. We all get together, shoot for two hours, clean up our messes, cook dinner and enjoy some wine. Once the adult beverages come out we put away the guns. My wife is a chef so she gets to do the cooking with assistance from the other folks. A lot of fun with fine people.

C'mon out sometime. We have a ball. It is only 16 hours from here.

Thanks for the invite, but that's a little far of a drive for me, considering the number of places available to shoot locally. Heck, my annual trip to Camp Perry for the National Championship matches is only a 12 hour drive!
