Wolf's Den has powder!!!

Postby Seismic Sam on Fri Jul 25, 2014 7:49 am

Wandered into Wolf's Den yesterday, and they had gotten in a pretty sizable shipment of powder. The owner was about like George at the EFFEN Gopher Bar on a bad day, and told me to STF away and not pester him. I asked for a pound of Longshot and Auto Comp, and he had both. Longshot was $23 a pound and Auto Comp was $22 a pound. Their pricing has always been pretty fair.

Was at Gunstop yesterday, they had gotten some handgun powders in also. Currently available powders are listed on the lower right of there website.

Sounds like an excuse for bad customer service and being a dick. I don't care what the excuse is, customer service jobs and businesses have their success based on customer service ability.
I guarantee Bill's Gun Shop gets 10x the number of stupid questions, and Cabela's 20x. They still manage to treat people with respect.

Just called he seemed pretty friendly even asked what I was trying to do.

I thought that was pretty nice considering he gets the same questions 100 times a day.

Brian is a good guy. I've never had a problem with him.

Glad to hear it. I must have caught him at a bad moment. Or maybe it was my stunning good looks and cheery personality... :deadhorse:

All I did, however, was walk in the door, say "Gee, you got powder...." and I got to hear about all his troubles for the next 5 minutes...

Very true. But when you're a dick to everyone, like the OP, its just par for the course. ;)
It is better to have a gun and not need it, than to need a gun and not have it.
