I would take a PSL or a Dragunov... either one would be a sweet rifle for the range.

The last time I was at the range with a guy with a PSL he couldn't hit a 12" target at 100yds. I'm not sure if it was him or the gun - he wouldn't let me shoot it. :roll: They look cool, I don't want one. :lol:

I'd want one just for the hell of it, but they're not terribly accurate when compared to the modern 308 AR platforms. The benefit to the x54R is that outside of gun-panic times, ammo is dirt cheap.

I can't help but envision the whole thing flopping around like a fish on the dock as the bullet makes its way down the bore. Besides that, yeah, they do have a menacing look to them. :lol:

They are extremely capable rifles, I wouldn't want to be on the business end of one sub 1000m.
