not all classes issue certificates. Granted, P.O.S.T or NRA LEO classes or a place like Frontsight will. And yes, some of the local houses do too. But seriously, if it's not from a certifying agency like POST, NRA LEO or FBI, will it really matter?

when I was teaching a lot years ago, there were some that were looking for and taking classes for that shingle. Had more than a few ask me right out of the gate, "Do you issue a certificate?"

seriously, will it make you feel better about what you learned?

I think getting a cert is nice, helps me remember that I took that class on that date... Getting one or not has little to do with my decision to take the class.

Do multiples of the same class count? For example PTC, twice. And would unique instructors at each make a difference in that answer?

For my poll, a PTC class counts as a class. If you've taken one, you're option 3. If you've renewed your permit with a second class a few years later, you're option 4.
