You are only the 2nd guy to mention the 2400 and I have used it for all 44 mag and spec for many years. It was the [go to] powder used by one of most famous and trusted local reloaders, sadly now deceased, Mr. Dennis Johnson
.Since then, I have tuned many a reloader on to it as their preferred powder for all .44 loads, and they love it. I guess we are what you younger fellas call, "OLD SCHOOL". but sometimes, when it works, don't mess with it is best
