If someone needs Mini-Mags, this guy is selling 1000 for $100 ($10 per sleeve)...

http://www.armslist.com/posts/4029990/m ... ni-mags-rn

Another guy selling 450 rounds of CCI Stingers for $70 which is $7.75 a box of 50.

Both are pretty close to recent first source retail prices - I wouldn't pay that much but if you need either in quantity it's an option.

This is what I've been seeing lately at Fleet Farm in Brooklyn Park. I bought six of them two weeks ago, and there weren't any limits, nor were they flying off the shelves.

How long ago was this picture taken? Also, what day of the week, and the approximate time?
Last time I was at the Lakeville FF (approx 1 wk ago), the .22 section was nothing but bare shelves.

That is the MOST .22 I've seen in one spot in over 2 YEARS! Wow! Price looks good too! How's it been firing for you? I've heard and also been told by some people at the range that Winchester .22 has a lot of dud rounds that fail to fire. :)

$7.29 for 50 rounds looks good to you? Even if those boxes are 100ct, that's still equivalent to $36 for a bulk pack of 500. To me, a 'good' price is under $25/500 for standard .22 ammo.

With tax the 500-550 round bricks and bulk packs usually end up just south of $30 these days. That particular grade of Winchester Super-X/PowerPoints are similar to the CCI Mini Mag (copper plated, more consistent performance) and, IMO, worth the added premium.

There's actually someone on Armslist selling Winchester Wildcat bricks for $30 a pop which is almost as cheap as first source retail (not mine..).

Midway has 1000 rounds of .22LR, M-22, bundled with 150 rounds of Winchester 9mm for $99.99. Use coupon code "9CCEE4A" for $15.00 off $100.

Not bad, figuring $13 per box for the 9mm that's $39 on the low side of the cost per round scale which puts the .22 at $30.50 a brick, shipping is $13.50 which is slightly more than tax if purchased locally. I'm not a fan of the bundle thing but if you also shoot 9mm it's certainly a viable way to get some .22 LR ammo.

Same deal but with 100 rounds of .45 instead of 150 of 9mm:

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/547204 ... nds-45-acp

Note that you can buy both for a total of 2000 rounds of .22 plus the 150 of 9mm and 100 rounds of .45 ACP. Figure the handgun ammo is worth $80 and you only pay another $3 in shipping to add the second bundle if you were ordering.
