However, I would suggest that we shouldn't let up on efforts since I fear the fat lady probably hasn't sung on this one yet.

The poor hoarders are going to be sitting on a lot of green tips, if ATF dumps the plan........

That would be funny.

Only over until the DOJ(what business is it of theirs?) reads the comments for and against. Meaning they will lose the against comments and claim people are for it.

Sometimes I wonder if the gov't isn't invested in the ammo companies. Talk about boosting sales!!

So the Armslist teabagging begins:

I love this posting! "I am willing to help out the speculators here and will buy a limited amount of the recently NOT banned "green tip" ammo, I am willing to pay 20 cents a round, just because I'm a nice guy and hope to help you make space on your shelves for the next shipment of .22LR ammo due in at WalMart."

Serves them right for hoarding and gouging. Sheesh, you would think Gander Mountain was selling their surplus ammo on Armslist, at the prices people were listing.......

Buyers do need to be less ignorant allowing them to be "taken advantage of" by people reselling ammo at inflated prices, either at retail/online or via Armslist, etc.. Same for people who walk in to a car dealership without doing any research and let the salesperson give them a "great deal" with all the extras including clear coat, an extended warranty and platinum plated spark plug wires. There is SO much information available with even a basic Google search or use of the widely known online ammo search engines there really is no excuse for getting ripped off these days. Even doing basic math when you find ammo in stock locally can be a big help.

I saw a guy loading up his cart with 3 of the 90 count bulk packs of XM855 for $50 a pop at Fleet Farm and pointed out the 200 count pack of Fiocchi .223 50 grain VMax ammo in a plastic ammo can for $100 one shelf slot over... comparing cost per round the XM855 was 55 cents a shot versus 50 a pop for the Fiocchi which is WAY better ammo and thus a better deal even before you factor in the value of the $5-8 ammo can it came packaged in. If you're paying for steak why not get steak, instead of paying steak prices and getting hamburger?

Ok, now rework the math using common core. ;)

I bought 2 cases before the prices spiked and I'll likely still have those cases when prices spike next time. :)
