I watched online while at work in WA. As expected the opposition had little more than hate and lies to support their argument. Too bad we did not have more individuals instead of business/organization representatives speaking. Anyone know if other people showed up but did not speak? Lots of repetition in the pro side. Knox Williams suggested an air rifle can be more powerful than 22lr subsonic. Not a good claim to make unless speaking of the larger caliber air rifles especially by an industry representative.

There was a strong majority of pro-suppressor people in attendance( my estimation was 90+% of the 100+ people in the room).
The salient points were made; repetition or irrelevance would have accomplished nothing, as witnessed by the antis' performances.

I suspect there will be some rebuttals, and additional commentary at the evening session, as there was some discussion amongst the committee about of a lack of qualified medical evidence as to the hearing health benefits.

The derp was strong on the anti - gun side today....from experts who claim they're not an expert, token gun owner, broad general bashing of the 2nd, and claims that suppressors turn us all into murderers.

Not much was needed on our side as far as testimony goes...they needed technical details mainly, so industry and trade groups can provide those very easily.

All in all extremely entertaining, and a good show by GOCRA and MNGOPAC.

When questioned, ol doc sawbones admitted he was a surgeon, and not qualified to answer some specific questions that where directed at him.

What the camera didn't bring across was the pissed off disposition of the anti, extolling the virtues of Canadian law, and the US's neanderthal behavior. After speaking this guy stood in the back of the room tight faced, glaring with anger. If there was anyone there that looked like he could blow a gasket and loose it, it was this character. I think the State Patrol/ security noticed him as well.

It's my understanding the House is in full session until a bit after 5. The committee hearings should reconvene about 6...615.
