Yes; point of aim is same spot; point of impact should walk consistent with scope adjustments, and return to original.

If you had the barrel on the rest, it would have been apparent from the beginning.

I think you keep the same point of aim.

Aim, shoot three.
Move 10 clicks up.
Same point of aim shoot 3.
Move 10 clicks right.
Same point of aim shoot 3.
Move 10 clicks down.
Same point of aim shoot 3.
Move 10 clicks left.
Same point of aim shoot 3.

You should be back to the start and have a 6 shot group. You should have a neat, 4 corner, box.

No. Reloaded another batch yesterday and will pick up a few boxes of factory ammo to get ready to try again. Might bring my sled bed this time to rule out human error.

I'd eliminate the human factor if possible, I had an M1A that I'd previously zeroed at 100 yards but started shooting shotgun style patterns at 100 yards later in the day... turned out I'd developed a flinch and had to work on that before I went back and put groups on paper again.
