I would give Dave Timm and Mike Davis a call at Patrol Tactical at 218-838-6380.
I have taken some of their training and it is very well done. Both are great guys with a lot of experience.

What part of the state?

What is the focus? (Blade, hand to hand, rifle, pistol, force on force, etc)

Price range?

Looking for something in the metro but will travel for a good class. Focus is hand to hand or using items from the environment she is in.

Patrol is mostly rifle / pistol training.

Travel to Chicago and take this:

July 11-12, 2015, Chicago, Illinois – Martial Blade Concepts State-of-the-Art and Progressive Skills Seminar

In this unique two-day seminar, Michael Janich will present progressive instruction in the latest refinements of the MBC system and how practitioners of all levels can use them to optimize their skills and training. Instruction will cover both standard and reverse-grip combative applications and training drills and methods of adapting reverse-grip skills to less-lethal weapons like tactical pens, Kubotans, and flashlights. It will also address weapon carry methods, high-speed deployment skills, empty-hand-to-weapon transitions, and weapon use from disadvantaged positions.

Based on student demand, Janich will also present specialized instruction in restraint and control tactics, joint locking, the practical combative use of machetes, and other topics of interest.

This progressive seminar assumes a reasonable degree of physical fitness and some familiarity with Michael Janich’s unarmed combatives system. Preparatory training will be available for those who need it. For more information, cost, and registration details, contact Keith Jennings at:

I highly recommend Krav Maga. in MLPS. or St.Paul.They have classes for every situation. My son and I took them[he's into 3-4 different Martial Arts and boxing] and this is as close to "real world" situations as you can get. It's great also if you carry, and don't have time to draw.
Give it a look.....www.kravmagampls.com/
