That probably *does* qualify as an arsenal. :D

I've seen several collections of similar size. Don't see anything wrong with those or this one. What I see is, the police damaging someones property by handling guns like they are shovels.

+1

There is absolutely no reason for the police to be touching this property. The guy wasn't involved in any crimes and his home is not a crime scene. The next of kin should have taken possession per inheritance laws. The police should not be involved.

Why don't you ever read stories like: "Detectives want to find out why he had so many stamps and are examining the postage to determine if they have been linked to any crime."

Does seem to be an over reach. So eager to get them in the system. The guy must not have any family or will. Would be a good case for ACLU ;)

Wow, its called the 2nd Amendment. But does seem weird some are still in the boxes and such. Could be stolen or he could have been a collector. they make it sound like he is guilty before proven innocent.

I was once in a basement full of guns, likely more than that, piled about four feet high in boxes and on pallets, all new. I had to get to the air handler for a no A/C. The older guy and his son
were stockpiling for their retirement, nether had any job benefits he said. I was truly in AWE when he took me down the stairs. It was funny how you could tell whose were whose
by the type of guns. Only spoke of it a couple times now.
Every time I see something about a stockpile of arms I think of it, I'm sure here in Mn. if it was ever found by the police they would unjustly seize the old guys retirement, he sells
as he needs extra money.

Residents of the townhome complex where the man lived were evacuated Saturday as investigators removed the weapons and ammunition.

They will never be able to sell the adjacent townhomes, what with all the wetting of pants going on it's inevitable that it will soak in to the flooring. :bolt:

So his girlfriend of 17 years just left his corps in a car down the road from their place and then went on a 10 day road trip with another friend..........sounds legit to me. Curious to hear more of the story though.

She did so because he told her that one of the agency's 'watching him' would take care of his body, guns, cars. Imagine her surprise when she came back and it was still there(ugh).

Certainly a weird story. Another article lists him as partial alien - like out of this world alien, not out of country alien.

Lawyer says that girlfriend was duped into thinking he was some sort of agent. Really?!? During the 17 years they were together there haven't been some red flags? Like him telling everyone he's a "secret" agent? Or maybe they were going to get "married". I will be interested to find out where his income came from as they seem to already admit the guns are legal and they can't determine anything illicit at this time.

6.5 tons of ammo? I guess we now know where all the 22 ammo went.

The liberals I know are having a ball with this. They equate this number of guns with an excessive amount of criminal activity. They think this guy has bodies buried in his back yard, etc. Chances are that this guy had never committed a crime. Also, I would bet that the average law abiding gun owner on this forum has more firearms than the ten last mass shooters combined.
Donald Trump got more fat women moving in one day than Michelle Obama did in eight years.
