That might be true, if so he's probably guilty of manslaughter, but murder is a tough sell. Especially when the prosecutions argument refuting that the cop was knocked to the ground by the car is plainly bull$hit.
It all comes down to whether the cop reasonably believed that his life was in danger. This will be an interesting one to watch.
