I didn't see this anywhere else. I wonder if it has a chance.

Does it have a chance?
I'll say no.

But a year ago I'd have said 'no' to the expectation of seeing threads here about who's buying which suppressor. . .

I thought I read this was the third time it's been proposed. With our current Resident, not likely.

Yep;
Giving up the opportunity to tax and control the commoners would be antithetical to the regime.

At least it is a start. That's what it took for suppressors in MN... starting and staying at it. I think that if they keep framing this as a health benefit for hearing safety and also throw in some 'good neighbor' benefits it stands the chance to cross the finish line within a couple years.

It's 'common sense' gun legislation. Don't we want to be like other developed countries?

What I've read on that so far, it doesn't even have a bill number so it's not likely ever to have. Would be nice.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

The groundwork needs to be laid now, so that action can be taken when we elect a President that has even slightly less preoccupation with eliminating our constitutional rights.
