MPLS 4th Precient

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone here (the forum) is avoiding the topic. Maybe I missed the post. Just seems strange, normally we have several Monday morning quarterbacks who want to speak up. I am not Trolling or stirring the pot, just commenting! :?

Personally I find the situation so far beyond the pale that there is little to say.
Also, opinions will be pretty polarized, and I suspect most here would agree to the vile hypocrisy, and absurdity of the actions of the protesters, civic 'leaders', and local media,
as well as be called out as racists by those who find the police actions suspect.
I find the whole ordeal depressing as hell, and taken with similar events around the country, wonder if good men and women will continue to answer the call of serving the public in law enforcement.

Further, coupling the MPLS situation with the events, and subsequent reactions to the Paris terrorist attacks, I truly wonder if we're going to make it as a civilized society at large.

If there's a positive conversation to be had, I'm all for it.

Black Lives Matter - but NOT Black on Black violence - the girl that was attacked is brain dead but no one is protesting on her behalf.

Not sitting on my hands waiting to find out. Seems the closer to the elections, the worst it is getting out there. Free time is now reload time.

I am reserving comment until more facts come in. I tend not to be very good at speculation these days.

The only speculation required would regard the events of the brief interaction between the 1st responding police officers, and the now deceased criminal.

What is known at this point:

There was a medical assistance call made for a woman injured in a domestic incident, by all accounts attacked by the now deceased criminal.
The responding paramedics were attacked/ interfered with as they attempted to aid the injured woman, by the same person.
The police were summoned.
The now deceased criminal then resisted the police during the encounter which lead to his demise.
A criminal that, in his brief life racked up a greater criminal record than I suspect the entire membership of this forum in their combined millennia of existence.

Subsequently there have been continuous riot, and near-riot conditions at the 4th Precinct office, including potentially lethal assaults on the police, the confiscation of molotov cocktails, vandalism and destruction of public property.

The media for the most part refers to this as the right to peaceably assemble, and the city's, and police dept.'s administrations wring their hands.
Several of the same ilk that created the fabrications that lead to the Ferguson Mo riots are on hand.
There have been several recent shootings in the vicinity of the precinct house.
Paramedics cannot now respond to the area without police escort.
And a critically injured woman has been all but forgotten about.

It would seem the speculations and assumptions are being made by those who appear to desire a less than peaceful, and civil outcome.

The details don't matter any more, its a political agenda item lead by paid activists prying on sympathies of the socially, economically and possibly intellectually challenged segment of the population. Its not clear what the end game is but all you need to do is follow the money and see who benefits and you find those responsible. money = power and visa versa

I've said this before, but it bares repeating.

Race relations stopped improving in this country when the leadership of the civil rights movement realized they could make big money race hustling & agitating. Jackson, Sharpton and this woman from the NAACP (I forget her name) have no interest in finding solutions, because there's no money in it for them.

As far as this latest shooting goes, to believe the BLM people you have to believe the cops shot this guy execution style. Sorry, I don't buy it. If there was a shred of evidence to support that, these two cops would have been convicted by now.
I will never apologize for being an American.
