Local source for AR internals?

Postby Mike_Ert on Fri Dec 18, 2015 7:00 pm

I placed an order with Rock River Arms for one of their lower parts kits with their NM 2 stage trigger. The kit arrived missing the following items:

- selector spring
- bolt catch spring
- buffer retainer spring
- disconnect spring
- magazine catch spring
- pistol grip washer
- takedown pin

Is there a local source these parts that aren't going to cost me an arm and a leg? I am certain that sorting this out with RRA is going to take a while. They took over 3 weeks to ship the order.

What area of MN do you live in? I can hook you up.

I am also SW Metro. Send me a PM and I'll get the parts together. You pay what you feel like.

Sweet Jesus. How did they manage to short you that many parts. I've been shorted a spring or detent a couple times, but that's ridiculous.

That gaberelli guy is alright. I'd recommend buying from him. Careful with drinking his 6.8 Kool aid...

That's how I get people hooked. I give away parts just to start the discussion then they are trapped! ;)

I do happen to have a nice complete rifle with a Geissele SSA-E trigger and an 18" BHW 6.8 barrel for sale....

Oh, and a 6.8 pistol landed me a DRT deer in the southern zone this year!

Yup. I turned him into the ATF and they were nice enough to let me keep the meat. They passed the fine onto his next of kin though.

Exactly what I thought AND DID! ATF didn't command it. This was vigilante justice.
