I have discovered that a simple combination of a quart of Hoppes, added to thinner, carb cleaner, spirits, acetone, naptha, chlorinated solvent, xylene, carbon disulfide and benzene makes powerful "witches brew" (that's what we called it back in Indiana). We soak these frames crudded up from 'tarry' powders like 700-x overnight and do a power rinse with half can of starting fluid followed a by 150 psi air hose treatment. I keep the 'brew' in an old gas can and filtrate it every 2 months thru a coffee filter. The crap that melts off my guns would make great pot-hole patch! Thanks a lot Mag-Tech! OBTW: If you guys have a Rem 1100 that needs a new life, float the receiver in this juice overnite, you would believe your eyes! You can get three teaspoons of gluck in the bottom of the soak tank!

Both Bill's sell you Magtech as their cheap ammo and the ammo to use with their rentais. I shot it through an SW1911PD and I had several failure to feeds on the first round. I am not sure what is different. I put a Wilson combat magazine in the same gun and that ammo shot fine 100%, so I can blame it in part on the gun's stock magazine. Having said that, other ammo, including my handloads [excluding SWC] shot through with the stock magazine just fine. Even the SWC shoots with the Wilson magazine.
Basically, I don't have a high opinion of the Magtech ammo all in all. I prefer WWB for cheap ammo ... feeds better in more guns [every gun that I have used].
