These idiots would accuse dogs and cat for problems if they could. What a bunch of idiots. Unfortunately, steam is building for arms control. Going to be a rocky next 5 months. Lets hope cool heads prevail and common sense action happens.

I seriously believe this needs to become mandatory trained for every person in the US.

Level I Antiterrorism Awareness Training - (2 hrs)

I will honestly be surprised if ONE person completes this course.

Of course, our opponents are saying the same thing. They just have a very different idea of what constitutes, "common sense".

I'm going to go on the record right now and say I predict if they can't get more gun control through before the end of Obama's term you will see executive order, and letting the courts fight it out.

ETA: referring to gun bills in Congress:

We can only hope that's mostly political theater, showing that they're "doing something", even if none of the proposed bills had a chance.

Never the less, you still need to CALL and E-mail our Lib Senators Franken and Klobuchar to let them know our side of the story. We alrady know how they'll vote that but should NOT stop us from voicing our displeasure with their asinine poliitics.

Considering that they got elected by a larger number of people who agree with them than those that think like us, why would you think they'd be likely to change their minds?

It takes me all of 15 seconds to send out the NRA's form letter. I've done it everyday since I got the email. It probably won't help but I see no downside to it.

The Democrats won't be taking our guns. The Republicans will do it for them. Don't rely on these a$$holes to protect our rights. Pat Toomey is caving in and more will follow.

Clarence Thomas is considering retirement. We're screwed.

Wow.....might as well crawl in a hole and wait for the authorities to come get your guns. What if the American patriots thought that way in 1776? Sure, they probably won't change their minds but hey, give em Hell and make them think that there is a least a faction of voters out there that do NOT agree with them. Much better than doing nothing. Do you have that same attitude with the MN Caucaus going after Senator Latz in the MN legislature this Spring?

Maybe, maybe not. Sit on your arse and do nothing and you're probably right. Do yoou think the liberals are sitting on their arse? I seriously doubt it. What ever happen to "Go down fighting"? Did you call Franken and Klobuchar today? I did. Maybe it helps, maybe not, but it's much better than doing nothing!

I didn't say that, either. I've emailed, snail mailed and called both of our Senators in the past on 2A issues. In every case, I've received a boilerplate form letter back "thanking me for my concern" and then re-stating the party talking points. My goal in these days is not to get them to change their mind, but to convince enough of my fellow Minnesotans to STOP VOTING DEMOCRAT that we can send someone else to Washington.

A worthy goal, but you shouldn't stop calling, writing, and e-mail our reps. If you do, they might get the mistaken impression that there are fewer of us out here and be even more embolden to do as they please.

The fact remains a shooter used a gun to kill a large number of people.

Both sides are splitting **** hairs.

A shooter killed people that the government viewed as questionable.

Why? Mentally unstable? Criminal actions?

It's reported he pledge or whatever to ISIS. (Still makes me think of the Saturday morning cartoon), so does that make him a domestic terrorist? An Islamic terrorist? Why is the .gov not acknowledging that fact or so damned scared to admit it?

Terrorism is winning. Plain and simple. And people need to realize this **** is only going to get worse. And fast.

Their goal isn't to really go all out and attack us. It's for us, out of fear, to demand our freedoms be given up willingly.

Thats EXACTLY what happened in England after the Dublane Massacre.
