That sucks. 200 years, should just save the taxpayers the time taking care of them. Have no sympathy for thieves.
Never been in there but have been in cabela's in Rogers a ton. Was it worth a stop? I mean before they lost their inventory.

NO!! Sparse shelves and fairly unknowledgable staff the few times I was in there.
Oh- and the day after going there, FOR THE LAST TIME, Amex notified me that my credit card numbers had been stolen (happens quite often spending half the year in NYC), but was the only place I used it that day. Still not making any accusations, though.

My experience as well. Throw in $10 cans of Rem Action Cleaner that are $6 at FF and you have all the makings of a (not) worthwhile stop.

Saw a snippet of the video and it's interesting that the thief knew exactly where to go and seemed to know that the cases were unlocked - no hesitation to check and see if they were locked, just slid them open. Also managed to hide his/her face from every camera angle, as if they knew where the cameras were. Skipped over a lot of guns to get the ones which were stolen. The thief obviously knew the store, and I hope that gives authorities a short enough list of suspects that the person is brought to face the music relatively quickly.
Inside job...former employee??
More likely a customer familiar with the store. I'd like to think gun store employees are smart enough, or at least know enough, not to mess around with stolen NFA items. The thief is probably looking at about 200 years in prison just for the cans.

That's the weird thing about crime and punishment. Any law-abiding person that up and committed a crime like that would indeed end up being punished to the fullest extent of the law. But a career criminal who is found to have done this will just have it bargained down to public urination and get off with time served.
