This is why we can't have nice things

This gem came through the stealership I work at today. 2016 Super Duty. Per the owner himself, him and a buddy were road hunting geese. So we got smart and law abiding. Passenger closed his over/under shotgun, and it "went off". Right.

It's a shame they missed the fuel line, then it would have been, "I don't know what happened, it just suddenly burst into flames!" :o

In the early 90's I had a pickup towed into the shop where I worked missing the radio...

The owner was pheasant hunting and it started to rain. He tossed the shotgun in and then his dog jumped in. Dog shot the radio and cut the main wiring harness behind the dash.
Add insult to injury, his insurance company refused to pay for it.

The vehicle's resale value has now been enhanced by the addition of a highly desirable aftermarket feature called a Water Drainage Venthole.

ND, can't be loaded in the vehicle. Not much debate possible about it being loaded inside the vehicle in this case. Yes, he was 2 seconds away from being legal. He was also 2 seconds away from shooting gravel instead of a floorboard, carpet, some wiring, and penetrating the bellhousing of a $5000 transmission.

How are we supposed to know it was North Dakota on a MNGuntalk site?

You weren't. I didn't know it mattered. It's a very minuscule part of an already unimportant story that didn't need much expansion. In a sarcastic way I said what they were doing was illegal. The only reason you needed to know it was in North Dakota is because you assumed I was wrong. You didn't trust me when I said what they were doing was illegal, and for that I'm truly sorry.
