Why would any tell someone who is asking for advice on what to buy. That they can shoot that rifle/caliber at that range at that animal and not agree with it.

At those ranges. I would consider it. If that was my only option

I stand by what I said.
Not only do you recommend to someone that they can/should do something. You won't even stand by the statements you posted.

Why don't read mine and your post over again. Because you don't have anything straight.

I didn't say 4 5 6 700 yards deer. I didn't say elk 400+. I didn't say SBR.

I went through and read all those post correctly before I quoted them again. They are your statements in those contexts.

New complexity is Grendel vs. Grender II. Trying to study up on that.

Found it. I guess it was only $849.

I wouldn't get a 24" for hunting, in MN, it's bulky and the extra velocity is unnecessary.

If you want to spend that much consider buying this

lol I think having the discussion on what you posted and recommended is a pointless one. If you are not willing to stand by your statements I'm not willing to have that discussion.

That's ok. We are just different people.

Ghost, do you have your retirement funds tied up in Alexander Arms or something?

Still waiting on that study by the way that shows the 6.5 Grendel outperforming the .300 win mag on moose in Scandinavia...

I see you added more to that question, made a bit more sense.

I recommend the Grendel because it's a light, accurate and capable package. It's capable of taking everything in Minnesota.

It's lighter recoil, cheap ammo, range and inherent accuracy make it a great round to learn with, play with and utilize.
