Interesting video about ........guns.

Meet America's gun super-owners – with an average of 17 firearms each

Some are collectors with elaborately curated selections of historical firearms, while others are ‘just accumulators’. They say it is surprisingly easy to get to 17

Not sure the narrative above really matches the video.

I hadn’t watched the video before but did now. I like how it says correlation does not equal causation and then ends it with even though America is safer gun owners don’t feel safer. Just because defense is your top priority doesn’t mean you feel less safe.

And 17 is still an average. That means people with 300 really screw up that data.

How does one actually limit themselves to only 17?

Or have children that shoot your firearms and your ammunition.

Not having stacks of extra money helps limit my spending, but honestly, I'm not sure I could really come up with a list of 17 guns I'd even want. I mean, if they were free, it might be different, but if I'm buying them, there needs to be at least some justification beyond "I want."

Ok first off why?

2nd I am positive I could not wittle the list down to 17 I need. Now I suppose if one takes the kids and wife into consideration and you narrow it to 17 per person in the household I could get close, can I count the dog too?

I guess I’m below average and no...it’s not my wife who tells me that! ;-) Obviously I need to get into the game and buy more guns. My biggest concern is when would I find the time to clean and care for more guns?!

Easy, only clean when something is not operating or performing adequately.

If I didn’t drop it in a mud puddle and it shoots were I aim, put some oil on it and back into the safe.
