Was the drum in that box or another one? Very nice looking gun. I'd love to have picked one up before they're banned but too many guns and too little time / money.

This is an M1, a military version, not the earlier Civillian version. M1a didn't accept the drum.

I got a CED portable Cleaning/Tool kit and a pair of Dillon ear protectors.

No new guns for myself for Christmas (have bought 4 already this year!) but both my boyz got the ok to buy a handgun from their Mom.
So with what they had saved, Number 1 one bought a Hi Point .380 (he is a bit recoil shy and I am glad he bought it!! He loves shooting it!)
Number 2 picked out a FEG PE - 63 which I could not talk him out of as the price was good, 140, and he liked how it felt!! But it has to much recoil for him, it does have a bit of a "snap". So he "traded" it to me for my Mark III Ruger!!

We will be wearing them at the EFFEN and shooting them for the first time tomorrow (Friday) at Bill's North.     :cheerleader2: :cheerleader2: :cheerleader2: :cheerleader2:

No big presents in my world this year. I got a thousand large magnum pistol primers in my family gift exchange. (we had a limit of about $25)

I got some Akro bins for the gun room. Gave the daughter a 6.5x55 ruger 77 of her own. She had been shooting mine and loved it, but I was Al's in WBL and he took this one in on trade for an M1a. I walked out to the the car and waited for the transaction to finish and walked back in and bought it on the spot. It is a II model with the M70 style safety not a tang safety like mine. I will post pics tomorrow. If she will let go it long enough. It took her a few seconds to realize why I had just rewrapped "my" swede for her, then she realized the safety was different and she just squealled.

I didn't get all of these for Christmas, but they're all within the last month or so.

Remington XCR. The Schmidt & Bender PMII and Badger mount/rings will be here within a week!

AR57. That's a magazine from an FN PS90 mounted on top of the upper. Like the PS90, the rounds sit sideways, and rotate at the last second and drop into the chamber. The cases eject out of the traditional mag well. I already had the Aimpoint M4 optic.

The GSG5 isn't new, but I put a mount and ACOG on it. Darn you, Ron, for making me think about putting an optic on it!

VZ61 Skorpion. It's amazingly accurate. After I shot it the first time I'm seriously thinking about titling it as a short barreled receiver and putting a stock on it.

I got a miniature 1841 6 Pounder cannon for Christmas.

Don't know if I will fire it or just keep it as a display.

And yes it does fire. These are made locally and do come in a couple styles and colors.

Yes, I know the barrel is a bit tarnished. I wanted to call the maker just in case he recommends one polish or another for certain reasons.

Bought my wife her first gun, a stainless Taurus 85 with pink grips.

Got myself a bi-tone XD(M) in 40. It's going to be my new competition gun.
