Unable to post or logout using chrome

Postby Grayskies on Sat Jul 27, 2019 4:15 am

It says the session ID does not match for logout and "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again", having to use tapatalk to post which I truly hate.

My computer did that for a while. My phone always seems to work.

A little off topic, but Chrome is spyware. I used Firefox for a long time but recently switched to Brave. I really like it, very good privacy built in to it.

I'm using Chrome with no issues.

OldmanFCSA said he is having the same issues as Grayskies. Unable to post, pm, and not able to logout

I gave up on Internet Explorer at least ten years ago, at the time it was slow and not very secure. At the time Firefox was the best thing going, you could use some addons to prevent popups, advertisements, etc. I never considered Chrome, it was developed by Google, enough said.

I've been having problems with Firefox lately, they've had some bad upgrades, some addons have quite working, etc. Some friends recommended Brave. It was developed by one of the original Firefox founders. Security is built in, you don't need any addons. It seems faster than Firefox.

Goodbye, Chrome: Google’s Web browser has become spy software

You open your browser to look at the Web. Do you know who is looking back at you?

Over a recent week of Web surfing, I peered under the hood of Google Chrome and found it brought along a few thousand friends. Shopping, news and even government sites quietly tagged my browser to let ad and data companies ride shotgun while I clicked around the Web.

This was made possible by the Web’s biggest snoop of all: Google. Seen from the inside, its Chrome browser looks a lot like surveillance software.

Any thoughts on "DuckDuckGo"?

Been using it for a while supposedly doesn't track your browser history.

DuckDuckGo is a search engine, not a HTML rendering engine (browser).

I've recently switched to Waterfox. If you don't want Mozilla effing up your browser and taking away your options (i.e. where to store bookmarks) Waterfox might be for you.

Finally back on after Chrome, Edge and Firefox all failed me. Frankly I think this is a board issue, not a browser issue.
