Okay y'all, I made a test run for dinner tonight. The restaurant is located in what used to be the Old Country Buffet in Richfield. South east side of the roundabout on 66th Street. Army Recruiter is in same building.
They have a note on the door that you have to wear a mask when entering. My wife and I did, but we saw others enter without a mask. You can take off your mask at your table. You are supposed to wear your mask while getting food from buffet, as well as a plastic glove they supply (1 glove).
IMHO the food isn't as good as the 98 lb Buffet, but it wasn't terrible. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. Also, the lunch is $9.95 and doesn't include your beverage. At dinner I had Lemonade and is was $1.95 extra.
They had the usual selection with a small selection of Sushi, which was okay. The Wasabi had no kick to it. They did have some Dim Sum but we did not try any.
There were long tables that would fit our group.
So, it's up to everyone to decide if we want to do this on July 1st?
I am supposed to see a surgeon (hopefully next week) to see about having a cyst removed from my belly. My attendance at the lunch, will depend on when they decide to do the surgery, which should be out-patient.
There's still time for other options if anyone has another place in mind. Or we go here, and make the best of it.
