I have no problem waiting...... for a vaccine to prevent a virus that is 99.998% survivable.

What I'm 'waiting' for is the travel and employment bans imposed on those who are not vaccinated. Being retired, the former is a far greater concern than the latter.
While I am in good health, my age suggests I am at the lower end of a slightly elevated risk.
I am more anxious about these vaccines, having been rushed into use in an unprecedented manner, than contracting, and surviving the virus.
Before I voluntarily get the shot, I'd like to find out if I've already had the 'rona, as I am somewhat suspicious I got it late Jan of this year/ '20.

I was able to check every symptom box other than fever. Got tested. Negative. Symptoms persisted, Doc wanted me tested again. Negative again.

I've heard of all sorts of false negatives as well as a small but growing list of side effects from the Vaccines.

Personally I would like to hold off getting the vaccine until there is more test subjects (first recipients) that get it.

Then there is that male nurse in Houston that "got" the vaccine on TV to give public confidence....but it turned out that he faked it, getting a dry injection with an empty hypodermic. Why?

Interesting that Fraudci is on video "getting the vaccine" in the arm that today identifies as left...then says he has a sore arm at nonspecific time later like all vaccines and pats the sore spot on the arm that today identifies as right....

Guys, 3% or less of people that "get" COVID-19 have a severe (almost) Allergic reaction to it. The other 97%+ have minimal or no symptoms. The people that have no symptoms have a 0.7% chances of "spreading" the cold to other people that live in the same house according to the CDC.....

False negatives.... if you double the sample size 64x you literally ate a 1/2 lb $#!t burger because I farted in my car in front of you in the drive-thru line at Wendys. There are no false negatives, only (and primarily) false positives.
