Under Marty’s proposed bill, anyone purchasing a gun at a commercial business, gun shows or through individual sales, would have to acquire a license which would require gun safety education and training similar to what people have to do when they obtain a driver’s license.

“It seems to me that it is no more of a burden on lawful gun owners than driver’s licenses are a lawful burden on drivers,” said Marty.

They want to compare to a driver's license? Well lets save some lives, let's do what is required for people that want to renew their MN permit to carry. All those that want to renew their MN drivers license, make them take a class every 5 years to keep them current on the laws and do an actual driving test in a vehicle.

Marty is a typical brain-dead leftist who's never had an original idea of his own yet thinks of himself as the smartest person in the room.

Personally, I'm tired of the same old clichés being trotted out every few years.

Here's a clue.
You don't need a drivers license to buy a car.

Clue #2.
Vehicles are registered so taxes can be lived on them, not so they can be kept track of.
I will never apologize for being an American.
