Great review of the Jumbo.

Even Military Morons link to this guy.

I couldn't watch it any longer than the first 30 seconds, did the mall ninja end up showing how to turn your tee-shirt into a ninja mask?

The Milspec Monkey is definitely unique and dedicated to his reviews. Despite the Mall Ninja feel of some of it, the reviews are generally informative and cover the utility of the items.

He even has some stuff on baklava and head cams :-)

I saw that the other day...Shows that persistence pays off.

I bet he gets a ton of free stuff becuase he does such in depth reviews. That would be cool!

I have one of these loaded up in the safe.

http://www.onesourcetactical.com/index. ... ProdID=453

It is not nearly as cool as a chest rig/plate carrier, but it is actually something I could carry without drawing attention to myself.

It is well made, but I am not a fan of the leg-strap. I personally use a caribiner and hook it to my belt to keep it in place. The leg strap stuff is removable, so it's all good.

Overall, it isn't as fast, cool, or "tactical" when compared to a lot of stuff designed for combat, but it holds enough for me to be ready to grab and go without wasting a ton of time. Plus, if your inability to reload your rifle in 0.6 seconds flat is the deciding factor in a situation, well, unless you're a member of a military fire team, you may as well buy a lottery ticket, because winning the powerball is more likely than you staying alive.
It turns out that what you have is less important than what you do with it.
