Every single GOP politician that is not a gun grabber is preferable to Trump. Clinton would not be better. Why are people so upset that a gun owner opposes Trump?

I believe what upsets people is your poorly veiled trolling which advocates 'losing' the election in a way that would cause great suffering to those who believe in firearms ownership..

If anyone is trying to lose the election, it is the GOP. The are doing by nominating a proven loser in Trump. Electing Trump is the same as promoting an anti-gun agenda.

Are you that blind to how Trump has been screwing gun owners? We need new blood in the White House. Not the same old loser gun grabbing SOB that is Trump.

I am not the troll. It is people who are trying to convince other gun owners that Trump will not screw us over again in the future. You really think Trump will not push for red flag laws without due process or push to raise the age to buy firearms?

Tell me who has grabbed more guns than Trump. No one. So why does Trump represent anything other than "great suffering to those who believe in firearms ownership"?

You say the same thing in every effing post. It's getting effing old. Trump is the nominee, that isn't changing. Go bark up some other tree.

From the video;

NRA is the worst 2nd Amendment advocacy group. Duh.

He rightly blames Trump for his anti-gun views and actions. But he fails to mention how Reagan's closure of the civilian machine gun registry was the root how Bush, Biden and Trump were able to accomplish their gun grabs by simply calling bump stocks and reset triggers, machine guns. He touches on Trump's "take the guns 1st" insanity.

My views;

In the video J. D. Vance talks about registration as a liberal thing, but GOP and Democrat politicians have used registration as part of their gun grabs. If Vance does not openly oppose the Trump anti-gun agenda, then I don't think he is pro-gun. He needs to rise above politics and loyalty to any one person. Vance can choose loyalty to the Constitution instead.

And I will keep on saying it. I will not knee before any of that anti-gun crap even when the GOP is pushing it.

So how well it worked for the Democrats when Biden dropped out? Trump is the old deranged candidate with fading mental powers now. He can drop out of the race and recommend someone else without his gun grabbing pedigree.

Jackpine, you're being evasive. You really think Trump will not push for red flag laws without due process or push to raise the age to buy firearms?

Hope this helps. I do hope we won't read about you in the newspaper someday.

A mental loop is a repeated replay of something that’s bothering you. The dangers of a negative loop are that they can be distracting, often come with unwanted negative emotions and can result in consequences such as lost time, energy and hope.

It has been a long time (2011) since I was written about in the local newspaper. I doubt it will happen again.

You really think Trump will not push for red flag laws without due process or push to raise the age to buy firearms?

The odds are Trump will not win Minnesota. So what good is your campaign against him here in MN? Shouldn't you, as a minimum and maybe you are, being on gun boards in the swing states and the states he will probably win. They are the people you need to convince.

The only thing I've said, or implied, is that Trump is the best candidate running for POTUS, who is capable of winning.
If you disagree, state the name of your preferred candidate that you believe can get elected this year.
Answer the above and people will perhaps accept you as something other than a second rate troll.

Fine, except the battle to nominate a Republican other than Trump is over, and we lost. At this point its a Republican or a Democrat for president from 2025 to 2029. Are you seriously suggesting that refusing to vote for the Republican nominee for president in 2024 will somehow "send a message" to the Republicans that they need to back more gun-friendly candidates? That's like saying "let's let the enemy overrun our position to send a message to high command that we think our CO is doing a bad job".

There's such a thing as cutting off your nose to spite your face. Gun owners letting the 'Dems win counts as one.

I am active on other forums as well. My stance on them is the same. I am not here just to complain about Trump.

I cannot stand by and let people claim that Trump is pro-gun. I would not let someone try to convince me that Biden is pro-gun without making any comments either.

Why are you demanding that I answer your questions, but you will not answer mine? Based on my history on this forum, I'm obviously pro-gun. But because I object to all anti-gun politicians, you have seen fit to call me a troll.

If Trump suspended his candidacy and promoted Nikki Haley in his place, she stands a chance of beating Harris.

It is not lost. Trump can do the right thing; quit and support someone else who is not so damn sleazy and a gun grabber.

You have heard of the Leopards Eating People's Faces party? That is the GOP right now, especially us gun owners. Too many gun owners think that Trump will not screw us over again. We are fools to give him a third chance.
