Too bad we missed ya, I'm sure you could have gotten a lot of volunteers. Are you doing any training in MN this year?

Shooting in adverse conditions certainly adds a new layer of interesting to the mix. I took a class in NY some years ago were there was like 2' of snow and it was interesting.

Cold adds a new layer of stress and mechanics...

Some years ago I was given the chance for a day of some cold/winter training and thought it would be a great challenge! Was I ever right!! Because there was so much snow, we couldn't use as many lanes as we would've like, so there was some extra waiting around. While waiting around, I quickly figured that if you catch some flying hot brass in your mitten, it warms your hands up real nice & toasty!! I did have shooting gloves and kept them inside my jacket until it was my turn to shoot. Although the other guys did start out laughing at me, they soon were trying! :D My eye/hand coordination was really challenged that day! What really save me though, was instead of wearing my heavy boots, I wore my muklucks-they weigh less than a lb each. Made it so much easier for movement.
As tired as I was at the end of the day, I bet I smiled for at least a week after :D
