Ordered new handgun

Postby westberg on Wed Mar 11, 2009 1:11 pm

I just ordered a handgun from SVI, it is spec'ed out to look like this picture. They have no production guns, every one is custom ordered to the customer. Because I like the look of a standard dust cover I added a Tungsten guide rod for addition weight up front. This is a metal grip double stack .40, bull barrel with the front sight mounted on it. The customer determines all of the cuts to the slide. It will take about 6 to 8 months for delivery. I'm expecting all I will need to do is load it set it on the ground and when the timer goes off it will do it's thing, I don't want to slow it down.
