Lunch, Bill Shooter Show, Setp 7, 11:30am

Postby plblark on Tue Sep 04, 2007 10:56 am

Since the Shooter Show is Friday, is anyone interested in taking some time to get lunch?

show opens at 10a so if we say 11:30a at the place right next door, we should be good.

thoughts?

I'd be in for that.

FWIW, I'm a big fan of Athen's Cafe a couple of doors down.

I've eaten there and it's really good also. We can decide at the show I guess.

I know the place next door ran a special a couple years ago that was something like half price with a carry permit :-)

I was going to say that the Athen's Gyro meal deal is very hard to beat.

Of course, there is also Broadway Pizza across the street.

Still trying to figure out schedules, but Friday lunch is a possibility.... Does anyone know if the show ever gets a little less hectic? I have always gone right at 10:00 on Friday and it is sheer chaos over there--most of the time you can't even get near enough a table to find out what's on it. Are there times when the crowd goes down some?

I'm actually taking a vacation day. My wife says I never take a day off so it's sort of a compromise. We have a couple of things to do but we should be able to make it.
