Don't really want to do this....

Variable clouds with strong thunderstorms. Storms may produce large hail and strong winds. High 64F. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph. Rainfall possibly over one inch.

Not looking good for an outdoor class.

As such in the interest of all,

Please contact me in the morning.

I do not anticipate holding the class on the 30th and will have to reschedule.

I would rather wait for a better forecast than to have everyone show up and risk a rain out.

And, you will get a chance to learn and try bump firing an AR15 and AK47 (totally useless skill...but fun!) And, if the class is full...we'll have a big boom shoot also (Tannerite).

The "until dark" portion involves shooting at night.... That is a fun part, but not critical to the day. Oh, I ordered the Tannerite today.

As of 9-27, the class size is "almost" perfect. 4 have registered... Ideally we like 6..so there is a tad of room if you were thinking of coming.

Just my luck, finally get the go ahead and then ma nature throws a curve.

Yes...the forecast actually got worse during the day today from 60% chance of crap to 80%. Since it is primarily a shooting class (ok, some demonstration...some teaching moments!) it makes no sense to be poured on all day as that would make for a very lousy experience.

Right now it looks pretty glum. Up here in the tundra (Detroit Lakes) we had a reasonably nice day, but it is starting to cloud up with 70% chance of thunderstorms all Sunday. So, it appears to be somewhat widespread.

This is a class that Jon and I really look forward to doing as it is also great fun for us. So, the weather gods seem to have taken this battle...but...there are other days!

While this is a shooting course, we will also be challenging and teaching you about your most powerful defensive mechanism.
