Bagged this Tom this morning...

Was able to call two of them across the river in the background.

Congratulations! What time is dinner, and we need directions. ;)

I had been trying a new B-Mobile full strut tom decoy earlier in the morning (along with two hen decoys). I seen two toms come out across the field, but didn't look too interested in coming any closer to the decoys. A bit later another tom (or one of the two) came back out into the field a bit closer to me along with 3 jakes and a hen. It started displaying but again I couldn't get it to come any closer. I had packed everything up and headed down into this ravine and called and got a response from across the river. The two toms responded nicely to the calls and within 10 minutes had flown across and came looking for the hen. I had not put out any decoys. The tom came to about 30 yards before I dropped the hammer.

21 pounds with a 10 inch beard and 7/8 inch spurs.
