Combat Focus Shooting Instructor Course, October 2009

Postby Rob Pincus on Thu Jun 25, 2009 7:43 am

Hey Guys.... I wanted to give everyone a heads up that we are going to offer the first CFS Instructor Development course in Minnesota this fall. The course will be just outside of Minneapolis. If you are interested or have questions, post here or email. Details about the program and course can be found at http://www.icetraining.us.

We have had some great courses in MN and Iowa over the past couple of years and I'm really looking forward to certifying some local instructors!

Will there be a unit on how to take pictures from between downrange targets during a live fire exercise? :D

Jaysong,

Thanks for your interest... your email is on the list. We should have an info letter going out early next week with dates and locations. The course is being hosted by Rice County Sheriff's Office.

I dunno. If there isn't a section on taking pictures while being shot at, I think I'd feel gypped.

Dean,

Had to clarify ;).... with the firestorm on some forums, it wouldn't be the first time their was confusion...

Ron, you're on the list!

Princewally, I can run an evening seminar session special for you..... but there are going to be a lot of waivers and it'll cost $5600. The section will be called "One of my favorite things not to bother doing".

LOL. That's one helluva niche market.

Rob seemed to run an extremely focused and safe class last time he came through Bill's in Robbinsdale ... Instructor Development is sure to be worth every penny. Time to start saving some!

Rob,

If you're not teaching the downrange photography module, will you at least teach the "Spin around immediately after firing with your pistol in the Hollywood position" module? I've been looking for a local instructor to teach me that one!

Any prerequisites? I've had Def. Pist. Tacs. 1 and 2 with Don L. By summer's end, I will have also had DPT 3 (a new course) and at least one other class. I've had the P2C for a little over a year.
I got nothin'
