Midway is now telling me that 9/22/07 is the expected in-stock date. We'll see if that's true come early next week.

Well, so much for the 9/22/07 hope. Midway is now telling me that 9/30/07 is the expected in-stock date, which I guess is still better than the report three weeks ago when it said Oct. 17th ETA, but this is really getting tiresome.

at least it's made me feel better about spending the extra $s to have it in hand... I've also added a MagLuLa for both AK and AR to my stash of toys recently too. Haven't tried out the AR version yet since I had stuff shipped to Mom's place, but the AK version works slick! (both Sportmansguide and Sportmanswarehouse have them for $25 -- a bit on the expensive side, but they were in stock!)

I picked up an AR version myself a few weeks back. It's the most amazing and simple contraption. Works great for .223, both loading and unloading (when that's necessary). If the pistol one works half as well as the AR one, I'll be happy as can be.

Midway emailed me today that our backorder has been released to the shipping department and that it will email again once the shipment is sent. When I checked my account online, it actually already says that the product (all 12) have been shipped. Odd thing is that the "shipped" date and time is "9/27/07, 3:27 p.m."--i.e., tomorrow. I assume I'll be getting an email confirming the shipment and providing a tracking number shortly.

We're getting close. I'll post another update as soon as I hear the actual shipping ETA from Midway.

It sounds as if these might come in this weekend or early next week. I am moving this weekend so I might be without internet access for a week or so, If they come in dont give mine away I will be back again to claim it.

Midway confirmed by email that the product has shipped via USPS Priority. No tracking number, but I suspect I'll have the package soon. Will post again when it arrives so we can discuss how to distribute.
