Ok, last one, just to share. This one wasn't as close as Pat's and Ben's, but it was close nonetheless.

I had a great time... I really want to thank Paul for offering to loan me a gun after mine refused to pop a cap (Damn series 80 safety parts!)

I enjoyed shooting the PT 1911.

4th with a borrowed gun, woohoo!!

Looking forward to next month's shoot, probably be snowing then!!!

Lee

PS, got home found the mis installed part and got it working again.
Striker fired pistols need an external safety like a Subaru needs a spoiler!

Man, I get two mulligan excuses then. Someone beat me with my own ammo and someone else (overall time) with my own GUN :-)

Happy to help and had a heck of a good time. My two friends were both impressed with the event and how helpful and nice the people were.

And the coolest holster of the day award goes to.........

Macphisty for his Cobra holster made by none other than our own Vlad! Yes, that is real cobra skin, and yes, that is a real cobra head. Nothing better for housing a Colt King Cobra revolver eh?

I asked Vlad for a basic holster on short notice. After mentioning he had some cobra skin on-hand and asking permission to get creative, this is what I got. Vlad, you really knocked it out of the park!

Wow, Thanks guys! It was a fun one to make. Sometimes the only way to get out of a rut is to let the creative juices flow... :D

OK HammAR, I made this for a friend with a 2in Model 10 Smith.

Strong side with a thumb break and a piece of Dumbo's Mother lovingly had stiched as a detail. ;)
